Delphi

Delphi is a Greek restaurant in central Ingolstadt, Germany, offering traditional Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary approach and a strong emphasis on quality and regional freshness. Inspired by the history and philosophy of ancient Delphi, the restaurant presents Greek dining as an experience centred on balance, enjoyment and carefully prepared food.

The restaurant takes its name from Delphi, regarded in ancient Greece as the centre of the world and home to the famous sanctuary and oracle dedicated to Apollo. Its philosophy draws on the ancient maxim “meden agan” – “nothing in excess” – using the idea of balance as a guiding principle for the dining experience.

The kitchen is rooted in traditional Greek and Mediterranean cooking, with dishes shaped by the distinctive culinary character of Greece. At the same time, Delphi remains open to modern preparation techniques and contemporary ideas, allowing established traditions to evolve without losing their identity.

Quality remains fundamental to this approach. The restaurant places particular importance on regional freshness and carefully prepared cuisine, combining Mediterranean influences with ingredients and standards suited to its location in Ingolstadt.

Delphi's concept is ultimately about enjoying Greek food and drink thoughtfully rather than simply following tradition for its own sake. Classical inspiration, Mediterranean cuisine and modern culinary ideas come together to create a distinctive restaurant experience.

Located on Ludwigstraße in the centre of Ingolstadt, Delphi offers guests an opportunity to discover Greek gastronomy through a philosophy that values tradition, freshness, quality and balanced enjoyment.
