Griechische Gemeinde Gerlingen

Griechische Gemeinde Gerlingen is a Greek cultural and community organisation based in Gerlingen, Germany. Founded in 1963 during the early years of Greek labour migration to Germany, it has played a longstanding role in preserving Greek language, traditions and cultural identity among generations of Greeks living abroad.

Established as a meeting point for Greek migrants and their families, the organisation has supported social connections, cultural participation and the continuation of Greek heritage. Over the decades, its activities have included initiatives related to Greek education, youth engagement, cultural traditions and community life.

Griechische Gemeinde Gerlingen brings people together through cultural celebrations, educational activities, social gatherings and intergenerational events. Its work encourages younger generations to maintain connections with their Greek roots while promoting cultural exchange, solidarity and participation in German society.

With a history extending over six decades, the organisation continues to represent an important part of Greek diaspora life in Gerlingen and the surrounding area, connecting generations through shared heritage, language and cultural traditions.
