Aphrodite Taverna

Aphrodite is a family-run Greek Cypriot taverna in West London, founded by Pantelis and the late Rosana with the aim of bringing the flavours and hospitality of Cyprus to the city. Built around strong family values, the restaurant developed with Pantelis leading the kitchen and Rosana managing the front of house, creating a warm and homely atmosphere from the beginning.

Today, Aphrodite remains family operated, with Pantelis continuing to lead the kitchen and welcome guests personally. The restaurant has built a loyal following among local diners and visitors, maintaining the informal and personal character that has shaped the taverna over the years.

The menu focuses on authentic Greek Cypriot cuisine prepared with fresh ingredients from land and sea and traditional family recipes. Specialties include charcoal-grilled souvla, oven-baked kleftiko, homemade smoked taramosalata, grilled halloumi and moussaka, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of Cyprus.
