Ouzeri

Ouzeri is a Greek restaurant located at Mauritzstraße 22 in Münster, Germany, bringing the traditions of Greek meze dining and hospitality to the city. Inspired by the Greek custom of sharing small dishes over drinks and conversation, the restaurant offers a relaxed setting for discovering regional Greek flavours, enjoying time with friends and experiencing the social character of a traditional ouzeri.

At the heart of the restaurant's concept are mezedes, the small dishes traditionally served in Greece alongside ouzo or tsipouro. These specialities reflect the diversity of Greek cooking, with ingredients, preparations and flavours that can vary according to region and season. The dining experience encourages guests to explore different dishes and accompaniments, bringing together familiar Greek specialities such as gyros and saganaki with the broader tradition of meze. Greek coffee and sweet treats provide a natural way to complete a meal or enjoy a quieter moment at the restaurant.

Ouzeri also celebrates the cultural traditions surrounding Greek food and music. Its programme includes a monthly rebetiko evening with live music, connecting the atmosphere of the restaurant with a distinctive part of Greece's musical heritage. The interior has a warm, intimate character, with colourful walls, traditional decorative touches and a welcoming arrangement of tables. During the warmer months, guests can also enjoy the restaurant's leafy beer garden, offering an outdoor setting for food, drinks and conversation.

Combining Greek culinary traditions, live rebetiko music and an informal social atmosphere, Ouzeri provides a place to experience different aspects of Greek everyday culture in Münster. Whether sharing mezedes with friends, enjoying a glass of ouzo or discovering Greek music, the restaurant brings together food, hospitality and cultural expression.
