Nota Théâtrale

Nota Théâtrale is a Greek theatre and cultural group based in Brussels, Belgium, founded in September 2012 by a group of young Greeks who had moved to the Belgian capital at different times and came from diverse professional and educational backgrounds. What began as a shared desire for artistic expression developed into a cultural initiative connecting theatre, creativity and intercultural dialogue.

The group's activities extend beyond theatrical productions to a wide range of artistic, cultural and educational events in Belgium and Greece. These include theatre performances, professional workshops and seminars, book presentations, concerts, festivals, exhibitions, artistic and sporting activities, and events exploring educational and scientific subjects. Through these initiatives, Nota Théâtrale creates opportunities for creative collaboration, intellectual exchange and participation in cultural life.

Theatre remains central to the group's identity, serving as a meeting point for people interested in Greek language, storytelling and the performing arts. Its productions are accompanied by French surtitles, making Greek-language performances accessible to French-speaking audiences in Brussels. This approach encourages interaction between Greek cultural expression and the different languages and traditions represented in the city.

Nota Théâtrale aims to bring people together through artistic exploration and shared experiences, creating a space where creativity, cultural interests and human connections can develop. Through its theatrical productions and wider cultural programme, the group contributes to the presence of Greek arts in Brussels while encouraging dialogue with the city's multicultural audience.
