Πλάκα

Plaka is a family-run Greek restaurant in central Bayreuth, operated by the Karypidis family for more than 30 years and now in its second generation.

The menu combines traditional Greek dishes with modern and Mediterranean influences. Customer feedback highlights dishes such as gyros, calamari and vegetable accompaniments, alongside generous portions and attentive service.

The restaurant takes its name from Plaka, the historic district of Athens, reflecting the family’s aim to bring a sense of Greek atmosphere and hospitality to Bayreuth.
