Řecká obec Ostrava

Řecká obec Ostrava is a nonprofit Greek community organisation bringing together Greeks living in Ostrava and the surrounding area, their descendants and partners, as well as people with an interest in Greece, the Greek language and Greek culture.

The organisation works to represent and preserve Greek culture and language while strengthening cultural identity and awareness across generations. It also encourages cooperation and dialogue with Czech and Greek institutions, particularly in the fields of culture and education.

Through its community role, Řecká obec Ostrava contributes to building an open and friendly local environment and to strengthening positive relations between Greece and Czechia.
