AVLI is a Greek restaurant in Passau, Germany, located at the picturesque Ortspitze, where the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers meet. With a culinary history beginning in Munich in 2007, the restaurant brings Greek dining traditions to Lower Bavaria, combining a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere with views of the Danube, Veste Oberhaus, Niederhaus and passing riverboats.

The restaurant's story began on Kreittmayrstraße in Munich before moving to Forstenried, where it welcomed guests for many years. After almost fifteen years in the Bavarian capital, the family behind AVLI relocated to Passau, taking over the former Korfu restaurant at Ortspitze. The move also brought the family closer to the home region of the owner's wife, who comes from near Hauzenberg.

AVLI's dining concept centres on Greek cuisine and the tradition of sharing food around the table. Its selection of smaller dishes encourages guests to explore different flavours together, reflecting the social character of Greek meze dining. Colourful salads, grilled specialities, seafood and Mediterranean accompaniments form part of the restaurant's culinary presentation.

The interior combines contemporary furnishings, natural tones and blue decorative details, creating a bright and comfortable setting. During suitable weather, the outdoor terrace offers views across the Danube and the surrounding historic landscape.
