Mamakas Taverna is a Greek restaurant in Toronto, Canada, offering a contemporary expression of authentic Aegean cuisine and culture. Located on Ossington Avenue, the restaurant was founded in 2014 by owner and operator Thanos Tripi as a tribute to the matriarchs of his family and a way to deepen his connection with his Greek heritage.

The restaurant's culinary identity is rooted in the Aegean, where food traditions have been shaped by the sun, sea and soil and passed from one generation to the next.
