Nepheli

Nepheli is a Greek restaurant in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld offering refined Greek cuisine prepared with fresh, carefully selected ingredients. Located on Friedensallee, the restaurant combines quality-focused cooking with a welcoming Greek atmosphere and a strong tradition of personal hospitality.

The restaurant was established on 21 February 2002 and is run by cousins Spiro and Wassili. Their philosophy is centred on giving guests an opportunity to step away from everyday life while feeling at home through attentive service, comfortable surroundings and genuine Greek hospitality.

Nepheli places particular emphasis on freshly prepared food and elevated Greek cuisine. The extensive appetizer selection includes dishes such as oven-baked feta, fresh mussels filled with rice and herbs, and assorted Greek starter platters designed for sharing.

Meat and seafood specialties are another important part of the menu. Examples include beef fillet with tarragon, spicy lamb carré, scampi with Cognac sauce, red mullet and swordfish, combining familiar Mediterranean ingredients with a more refined approach to Greek restaurant dining.

Carefully selected Greek wines complement the cuisine and provide an opportunity to explore Greece's winemaking traditions. Traditional desserts complete the meal, with options including halvas, revani and creamy yoghurt served with honey and nuts.

During warmer weather, Nepheli also offers a spacious and sheltered outdoor terrace. With its longstanding family management, fresh preparation, extensive menu and focus on quality, Nepheli provides an established destination for refined Greek dining and hospitality in Hamburg-Bahrenfeld.
