Akropolis

Akropolis is a long-established Greek restaurant in Nuremberg, Germany, run by the Ziouzios family and serving guests since 1982. As one of the city's longstanding Greek restaurants, it is dedicated to showcasing the diversity, quality, and creativity of Greek cuisine together with the country's rich wine culture.

The kitchen combines traditional Greek recipes with contemporary Mediterranean influences. Freshly prepared classics remain at the heart of the menu, complemented by carefully presented dishes that bring a modern approach to familiar Greek flavours.

Guests can choose from a variety of appetizers alongside fish and meat dishes prepared with attention to craftsmanship, balance, and presentation. The restaurant places particular emphasis on selected ingredients and fresh regional produce, which the kitchen team prepares with care to create dishes that remain rooted in Greek culinary tradition.

Wine is another important part of the Akropolis experience. A dedicated wine list features selected quality wines from carefully chosen wineries, giving guests the opportunity to complement their meal with wines that reflect Greece's diverse winemaking tradition.

Desserts complete the restaurant's culinary offering, while the combination of traditional recipes and modern Mediterranean cooking creates a dining experience designed for both established guests and those discovering Greek cuisine.

With decades of family hospitality behind it, Akropolis continues to bring Greek food and wine culture to Nuremberg through freshly prepared cuisine, quality ingredients, selected wines, and a longstanding commitment to its guests.
